Are your workouts working out?

The number one thing I find with new clients who already have a workout program going is that they’re just not pacing their reps properly.

This stops the muscle growth, it takes away the good “hit” and it stops you from getting good tone.

Hanz and Franz on SNL were right, you need to pump up and you need to pump properly.

Our bodies are so good at getting done the easy way and in the gym, we don’t always want that.

Next time you’re in the gym, make a smooth squeeze on the contraction of each rep and the control the extension and repeat.

Don’t overdo it and really squeeze or hold your breath during each rep. Just go for a smooth and solid contraction and then a controlled extension.

If you watch good bodybuilders, you’ll see them religiously following this type of pattern during each set.

1:3 count for each rep would be common timing if that helps.
