If you’d like better performance out of your body and less aches and pains after a round at the course, we can help.
With a strong background in golf personal training in Vancouver, our head personal trainer offers specialized sessions to teach you a simple and powerful swing.
This swing style is based on allowing the body to create “action-reaction” during the motion.
This is an advanced sports concept that he’s simplified for clients.
Pro Secrets for You
I’ve had so many clients who are active golfers and tennis players that no power and lots of aches and pains. Having been taught by elite sports coaches as an X international track and field athlete, I pass on the movement secrets I learned for pain free power. 99% of players have no idea how the pros really are swinging. It’s way easier than you think. They’re not stressing their bodies. They’re coiling and staying inside their inner core during their motions. This is the key.
I promise you will be blown away with these teachings!
- No hip drive that crushes your lower back
- No wrist motions that hurt your hands
- Find out how to use the billions of dollars of research in your clubs. They will do the work for you!
- No more pain after the round. You should be able to walk off completely pain free and play the next day!
- Sweep the ball into the air, take impact out of your body and put it in the ball.
These tips and more are just some of the incredible advice we can show you for your game.
For now, just for fun, try a basic rotational core test..
Golf Core Test:
As a simple test, stand on one leg and balance with your other knee lifted to 90 degrees.
Make sure you have lots of round you for safety.Â
If you can hold this position for 30 seconds, your core is solid. If it’s a challenge, you likely need to strengthen your core.
Good athletes are able to hold this position with eyes closed using either leg for 30 seconds.
We do not recommend this test without guidance for a professional golf trainer in Vancouver.
Golf Training Sessions
Our sessions often focus on:
- Refining you swing a bit
- Adding some power
- Showing you simple movement patterns you can use to solidify your swing
- Teaching you a motion you can use 4 days in a row without back pain or stiffness
This isn’t something being taught by golf coaches. Swing coaches are teaching sport tips, not biomechanic tips and motion tips. Many players on tour now have trainers taking care of their bodies and you can do the same. It’s of great benefit to learn how to keep your swing delivering huge distance and no pain every time you play.
How Many Sessions?
We’ve had great success with just a few sessions with many clients. We will often do a few sessions to begin with that can take place at the driving range or at home and then clients do update sessions down the road when needed.
