Golf Core Test:

As a simple test, stand on one leg and balance with your other knee lifted to 90 degrees.

Make sure you have lots of round you for safety. 

If you can hold this position for 30 seconds, your core is solid. If it’s a challenge, you likely need to strengthen your core.

Good athletes are able to hold this position with eyes closed using either leg for 30 seconds.

We do not recommend this test without guidance for a professional golf trainer in Vancouver.

Common Bad Golf Tips:

  1. Transfer your weight
  2. Hit down on your irons
  3. Widen your stance (this might be the worst one I’ve ever heard)
  4. Open your front foot to get through
  5. Get the club to parallel
  6. Create lag in your swing
  7. Drive your hip for more power
  8. Load your back leg
  9. Hit up on your driver (This is a terrible tip!)
  10. Lock your front arm
