The Top 5 factors for Weight Loss:

M: Motivation

E:  Environment

C:  Consistency

K:  Knowledge

S:   Support

G:  Genetics (kind of a bonus)

1. Motivation: Without it, nothing matters. All the fitness and nutrition products, people and knowledge on this rock are useless if you’re not motivated enough to use them. There’s nothing more to say, it’s just that simple.

“Most of the time, when it comes to fitness, you’ve got exactly what you want. If you wanted less, you’d probably have less and if you wanted more, you could have more.”

-Head Trainer, FS Studios

2.Environment: Where you live, whom you associate with, your job and the terrain your house or apartment is built on are all parts of your environment and have a tremendous influence on your health and fitness. Understanding these tremendously influential factors within this lesser known key to weight loss will help you fine-tune your regimen for faster results.

3. Consistency: Consistency rounds out the top 3 factors because without consistency, results are meaningless. This quote captures the essence of being consistent:

“The only workout that matters is the next one, because without it, all of the other workouts are meaningless and will eventually be nothing more than a thing of the past.”

You’ll often hear people say: “Just think if I’d never stopped training since_____, then I’d really be in incredible shape.” That’s the trick to it. Keep the ball rolling and you’ll never have these kinds of regrets again.

4. Knowledge: Knowledge is a catalyst. Knowledge gets you to the finish line quicker. Getting specific, up to date information regarding nutrition, weight and cardiovascular training, will help you get in shape and maintain the new you in a fraction of the time.

It also vital to seek out quality knowledge from the fitness industry as it is infused with all levels of information.

5. Support: Friends, family, coaches, personal trainers, fitness instructors, and tools such as journals, charts and trackers can all provide you with support. There is ample discussion on how all these people and tools in your life can have a positive effect on you by keeping you accountable and on track with your health and fitness endeavors.

Bonus, Genetics: They do play a part in your results but you can’t change them so you can still get there with them or without them. All of our clients changed regardless of their genetics. Their genes were never more than a starting point for us and we went forward from there as we will from this point on.

Hopefully this gives you an entirely new perspective on the main factors that influence your weight loss. Everything behind the scenes has influence and you can use it to your advantage so why not do so.

Best of Health,
